Project 2: Reflection (Still life)
1. The shading the bikes paint are the strongest part of this drawing. The shading is done well.
2. Getting the drawing done. (at this time) I also wish that the texture on the tires looks better.
3. It is a still life. I focused on the front tire. I saw the bikes and decided would be the best angle for me.
4. I did the shading according to the color. The darkest area got the darkest shading. My major light areas where the negative space. The major dark area are the black paint bike.
5.The way I shaded made this project look 3D. I used blending and dark to light value to show curving, etc.
6. I learned how to shade better. How to give objects that 3D look. If I took a career in art, I could apply the skills in this class to that in a career.
7. Mine was planned. I choose an angle. I drew the outline. I added shading and the details last.
8. Yes. You get to learn different forms of art in this class to figure out what you are good/ excel in/at. I think you should let students do this project with your examples of still life. (Bicycles and mopeds)
